License Data can't be Validated

Are you getting an error message, saying: "License Data can't be validated, because your WordPress configuration is missing its required Security Keys"?

No worries. All this means is that security keys are missing from your wp-config.php file. Usually WordPress generates these upon installation, but in your case, apparently, it didn't.

My plugin use the authorization salt (AUTH_SALT) to encrypt the license before storing it in the database, and to mask it when showing it in your admin area.

To fix this, do the following:

  1. Use WordPress' keys generator to generate your own unique set of Security Keys.
  2. Copy (CTRL (Windows/Linux) / CMD (Mac) + C) all the values on that page and navigate to the wp-config.php file in the root of your WordPress installation.
  3. Paste (CTRL (Windows/Linux) / CMD (Mac) + V) the values you just copied right before this line: "/* That's all, stop editing! Happy publishing. */"
  4. Navigate back to the License Manager and re-enter your license information.

Now the validation should go smoothly.
